Estefania Reyes Barron

Legal Assistant

Hello there! I’m Stef, I am originally from Morelos, Cuernavaca, Mexico, but I grew up in Houston, Texas from the age of 2 until the age of 25 when I moved to Sheffield Village, Ohio. I have been fortunate to live in different states in the U.S. since and it’s given me a better sense of the different communities that are all different but equally important.

In 2014, I began working in the immigration practice area at a Houston law firm. I worked as a Legal Secretary until 2018, when I moved to Ohio where I worked in Cleveland for a corporate law firm in the intellectual property department as a Legal Administrative Assistant, as well as other practice areas. I relocated back to Houston, Texas in 2019 and in that same year, I began working in the immigration practice area once more for a Sugar Land immigration law firm. I was introduced more in-depth to humanitarian cases at the firm in Sugar Land and I truly enjoyed learning and helping families in the process.

Being an immigrant myself and a recipient of DACA, I am truly honored to continue helping families and have a positive impact on their journey. DACA has made a significant impact on my life and has allowed me to be a more significant part of my community. I hope to serve others with my experience of both the experience of going through the immigration process myself and the knowledge I have been taught being part of this fantastic, growing, and changing practice area.
