El Salvador Temporary Protected Status (TPS) Extended

The United States has extended Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to nationals of El Salvador or people having no nationality who habitually resided in El Salvador. The extension will last 18 additional months, through March 9, 2012. This extension does not apply to Salvadorans who entered the United States after February 13, 2001.
