Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch
Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch is an award-winning immigration attorney, community advocate, and founder of Lincoln-Goldfinch Law – Abogados de Inmigración, a Texas-based firm dedicated to helping immigrants build secure lives in the United States. A nationally recognized immigration attorney and lifelong advocate for fairness, dignity, and belonging, she combines legal excellence with a people-first approach, leading a team committed to making immigration law more accessible, understandable, and humane. Across every role, she remains focused on the same mission: ensuring no one has to face life-changing decisions alone.
Kate founded Lincoln-Goldfinch Law in 2015 and has grown it into an established immigration law firm serving clients across Texas and beyond. Under her leadership, Lincoln-Goldfinch Law has helped 20,000+ families reach their dreams and has earned recognition for combining strong legal advocacy with a client-centered approach, emphasizing clear communication, accessibility, and trust throughout the immigration process. Kate is also a vocal advocate for expanding access to legal services and modernizing how legal support is delivered to better serve immigrant communities. Her leadership has helped earn the firm numerous accolades, including recognition as a Top Workplace in 2024 and the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Ethics, reflecting the firm’s commitment to both client service and workplace culture.
Prior to founding Lincoln-Goldfinch Law, Kate practiced immigration law at a firm in Austin, where she represented clients in a wide range of immigration matters. Her commitment to immigrant advocacy began during law school, when she worked in the immigration clinic at the University of Texas School of Law. One of her first assignments took her to the T. Don Hutto detention facility in Taylor, Texas, where she met a detained family seeking asylum. She describes that experience as a defining moment in her career, shaping her decision to dedicate her work to immigrant advocacy. Kate later helped represent the family in a successful asylum case. While at the University of Texas, she also received an Equal Justice Works Fellowship at American Gateways, where she represented detained individuals and families seeking asylum and relief from detention.
