Dear Client:

We have received notice from USCIS that your biometrics fingerprinting appointment has been scheduled. Please pay special attention to all of the details included in this notice.

Please make sure to take note of the date and time of your appointment carefully. Write it in your calendar and set reminders for yourself so that you don’t forget!

Please let us know if there is any inconvenience to you with the appointment date USCIS has set for you, so that we can request to reschedule your appointment with enough notice if necessary. It is not advisable to reschedule, as this can result in delays in the processing of your immigration case, but if you must, please let us know as soon as possible.

For your appointment, please keep the following in mind:

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.
  • Bring the copy of the notice you received in the mail (if you did not receive a copy, please call us before your appointment date).
  • Bring a photo ID with you (a foreign passport from your home country is recommended). Please contact us ASAP if you don’t have a valid photo ID.
  • Fill out the short form on Page 2 of the biometrics notice —this has all of your biographic information.
  • Review for accuracy your personal information such as your name and date of birth —this is how your information will appear on all of your immigration documents.
  • There will be NO fees collected from you at this appointment!
  • It is not necessary for your Legal Team to go with you to this appointment, as you should not be asked any questions about your pending immigration case.

The purpose of this appointment is for USCIS to collect your fingerprints and take your photo for your immigration IDs down the line, such as your work permit. All you have to do is make sure to look good, and smile!

Once the necessary information has been collected, your biometrics notice will be stamped. Please keep this stamped notice in a secure place in case USCIS requests it in a later part of your process. It is not necessary for you to bring this stamped notice to our office, or give it back to us. We will be sure to follow-up with you after your appointment.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Client Care Specialist. Your Legal Team is readily available to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Thank you for your trust and confidence.

Our best,

Lincoln-Goldfinch Law
