We are an immigration law firm staffed by social justice warriors who are committed to growth and helping bring peace to as many immigrant families as possible. We need a bilingual paralegal with experience in immigration and a personal commitment to fighting for immigrants’ rights. The caseload handled by this paralegal will be our humanitarian and deportation defense cases: deportation defense, asylum, VAWA, Tvisa, and U visa.
All our team members are active in our community to help bring peace to immigrant families. We want to be known for helping our clients come out of an extremely difficult and emotional process in a better position and feeling that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them. We are growing fast, and we need a paralegal who can hit the ground running.
Our office is a no drama environment. We do not tolerate gossip or toxicity. We help each other out and work together to revise and improve our systems and procedures continuously to improve the client experience. You must be able to improve, change, and grow with our firm.
Our clients are going through extremely stressful situations, and the humanitarian paralegal deals with clients who have suffered trauma. You must have emotional intelligence and be able to put clients at ease.

The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding.
This is a full-time job where you are expected to manage a caseload, so you absolutely must be able to work in the office for 40 hours per week.
