Kensey Boykin

Director Of People

When my mother immigrated from Venezuela, she met my dad while they attended Texas A&M in College Station, TX. Together, they opened up a South American-inspired business serving fruit drinks and empanadas. A few years later, they started a family and I was born into the most incredible family. I grew up in College Station, working at the family business throughout high school and while attaining my Bachelors in Human Resources from Texas A&M. After earning my Bachelors, I co-owned the family business for 3 years – it was there that I realized my passion for people and the employee experience and went on to pursue my Masters in Human Resources (also from Texas A&M – whoop!). Since graduating, I have spent my last few years in Corporate HR. I am grateful for the experience and knowledge I gained and will cherish that time, but believe me when I say I am so excited to be getting back to my smaller business roots and working with LGL on a mission that is personally important!

Outside of work, you can find me playing fetch with my 4 year old Mini Australian Shephard (Kenneth), camping or hiking, attempting pottery, or sitting outside enjoying nature.
