I was so full of Hope meeting with her and then all I heard was good news . I was in process of a TABC case so my legal lawyer required for me to get an immigration lawyer so I did other people had told me to go to Dallas or San Antonio for good ones but I needed something closer to home so I went with them . At first everything was going great . My legal lawyer always had a hard time getting ahold of them or trying to get any emails . They changed me from the person who was handling my case to someone who had no clue that I even entered here as a child with a tourist visa. Our first visit into the office with no information or experience was a bit scary for both me and my husband. After meeting with Kate and her staff we were convinced that no matter what the outcome we had a experienced lawyer and we also had a 50/50 chance of my husband becoming legal and a resident regardless of his background and case. Kate was very helpful and explained all details that would come if we decided to move on with the process. After agreeing I must say it was a bit stressful going through the procedures but we were hopeful every time we got a approval from each step or process. Finally, after his appointment in Juarez, MX and completing his requirements my husband now has received his resident card/green card and all this was possible with the help of Kate and Julie. My husband is very proud and now can live the dream he's been praying for ever since his first move to Austin, Tx. Soon he will apply for his citizen and he now can live the American dream and wishes the same for the other hopefuls going through our same process. Kate & team helped us with the Adjustment of Status for my wife from Colombia (getting a green card).I did the K1 (fiancee) visa work myself (successfully) and tried to fill in all the forms for the green card but it was too confusing. There's a lot of contradictory content on the web and if you submit a form with errors or are missing a form - your application can be rejected and your fee is not refunded!! I struggled for months (often procrastinating because it was such a daunting task).I could have saved my wife and myself a lot of time. We had one meeting with Kate and felt like we were in good hands. I would recommend them readily.My wife received her green 97 days after the receipt date of our application. Kate & team can't influence how long the processing time will be but this tells me that they can put together a bullet-proof application that will get processed as quickly as USCIS can do it. I had tried to do my VAWA case on my own in December 2014. My application got denied I was referred to Kate.Kate is very easy to talk to and helped me appeal my case. It was reopened and later approved. She was very thorough and professional. VAWA cases are extremely intrusive as you must prove the abuse. Not all abuse leaves scars and describing what you experienced if not written correctly can hurt your case.I hired her again for my final interview which she attended. My application was approved on spot and now I'm just waiting for my green card in the mail.If you are looking for an attorney she is definitely the attorney to hire.
